AlSher is a specialty materials manufacturer and developer of nano- and micron- sized particles for large volume industrial applications.
The Company's 100+ tonne capacity plant delivers enhanced performance Titanium Dioxide-based materials to customers in a wide variety of industries.
Our customers typically require tonne quantities for dispersion in coatings, paints, HVAC filters, and thermal sprays.
WHAT WE DO
AlSher APM manufactures and develops high performance nano materials for a variety of industrial applications. At this time, the Company's products are TiO2 based specialty materials. In the near future, AlSher plans to offer Zirconia-based materials.
OUR HISTORY
AlSher was founded as a joint venture between Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (ALTI) and The Sherwin-Williams Company (SHW) in 2007 to develop proprietary technology for the pigment and nano materials markets. In 2010 ownership of AlSher was consolidated in Sherwin-Williams and the company was subsequently spun out to 5iTech.
Under 5iTech management, the company relocated from Reno, NV to Cleveland, Ohio.
AlSher APM focuses on the manufacture and development of high performance nano- and micron- sized materials for a variety of industrial applications.
AlSher's parent company, 5iTech, has a highly skilled team of executives brought together for the purpose of building and operating high tech enterprises such as AlSher.
5iTech continues to closely manage AlSher and has appointed a highly distinguished Board of Directors to guide the company.

For UV Actuated Filtering
AlSher APM’s enhanced Nano TiO2 powders provide the highest levels of photocatalytic activity to filter Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs) in HVAC systems.
For Thermal Spray Applications
AlSher APM’s specially formulated Nano TiO2 disperses easily in spray media to provide superior heat and abrasion resistance.
For UV Absorption and Superior Weathering Properties
AlSher APM’s Nano TiO2 powder absorbs high levels of UV, improving weathering and sun-exposure resistance in paints, coatings, inks, and polymer masterbatches for molding and extrusion.
